Polyglutamic Acid

What does it do?

Polyglutamic Acid is a humectant (meaning it draws in moisture to the skin) that promotes healthy skin repair. It has excellent moisturising properties and provides double-ended hydration, drawing moisture into the skin and increasing the production of natural moisturising factors (NMF) for long-term hydration. Its polymer structure helps to create a hydrating film on the surface of the skin.

Where does it originate from?

Polyglutamic Acid is found naturally in jellyfish. However, we use a vegan alternative derived from bioferments.

When should I use it?

This ingredient can be used day and night.

Polyglutamic Acid is a universal ingredient suitable for all skin types.
